My wife Susan and I married in 2013.
My late wife Virginia and I were married for almost 40 years. She passed away in 2011.
Virginia and I have two daughters, both married, a granddaughter, grandson and a great granddaughter born in November of 2015. Her name is Kalaway. She is spoiled rotten and I am doing my part!!!!!
Susan and I love animals. We have dogs and cats plus a substantial vet bill each month. All of our animals are given shots, and are spayed or neutered.
I just turned 71 in July. I have been asked more times than I can remember why do I even want to teach school and expecially high school. The answer is simple: I have met so many of the greatest, most respectful and loving teenagers at LKHS. Each year of being with these young people makes me even more optimistic about the world that my grandkids and greatgrand kids will inherit.
I am also motivated by the awesome staff with whom I work. It is great to workd swith such a caring staff.
I enjoy meeting new people and telling them about the great students I have at LK
I also enjoy playing on my tractor moving dirt from one place to another.
I spend time on my hunting lease exploring and enjoying the peace and quiet. I have had some long talks with God in the middle of the woods.
AT 71 YEARS OF AGE, I AM OFTEN ASKED “WHY ARE YOU STILL TEACHING SCHOOL? WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO BE AROUND THOSE TEENAGERS”? I LOVE TO BE ASKED THOSE QUESTIONS. IT GIVES ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO TELL OTHERS ABOUT THE OUTSTANDING STUDENTS I AM BLESSED TO HAVE IN CLASS AND THE WONDERFUL STAFF I GET TO WORK WITH. IT IS A BLESSING!!!!
