I direct the high school band. I am also assist director for the junior high band and teach beginner band classes and administer all LK band programs.
I worked in the grocery business about ten years while teaching private drum lessons and drumline clinics before deciding to finish college and teach band full time. I began my career at small Pea Ridge High School in northwest Arkansas two years before moving to Texas where I worked with the Queen City band program ten years. Changes there moved my family to Paris, Texas where I worked at North Lamar two years before moving my family back home here in Cass County.
I enjoy woodworking, but not frequently enough.
I also like to mountain bike, but that's been rare since moving away from the hills and mountains of northwest Arkansas.
